Terms and Conditions

The use of SpecialTicket.net is governed by the terms and conditions that will be described below. Its use indicates their full and unconditional acceptance. The purchase of one or more tickets through this site indicates acceptance of the terms and conditions described below. SpecialTicket.net reserves the right to make changes on the site and on the Terms and Conditions at any time without notice.

1. SpecialTicket
SpecialTicket.net is not associated with any other Website, theater, place, stadium, artist, sports enterprise, or other ticket sale company. The price for the ticket purchased in the SpecialTicket.net website, through a Call Center, authorized dealers (service points) and Ticket office, may include a service charge that will increase the ticket's value. The service charge amount will vary from event to event and place to place. The service charge reflects the expenses involved in providing a more convenient, faster and efficient service for you, our customer.
You may acquire one or more tickets during the presale period up to 24 hours before the selected event.
The site also allows you to purchase one or more tickets at an established price each one. Discounts for seniors, children below 12 years of age and others that require the physical presence of beneficiary for verification and depending on the marketing policy used by the producer or promoter for each specific event, cannot be applied to internet purchases.
If SpecialTicket.net does not deliver the complete amount of purchased tickets, it will be SpecialTicket's obligation and its only liability will be limited to refunding any deposits and/or payments made for each undelivered ticket, previously done by you under our terms and conditions for any sale.

2. Return and refund rules.
All sales are final. There will not be cancellations, refunds, ticket changes or credits after an order has been confirmed. If there is a postponement or time change for an event, the respective tickets will still be valid for the future established date. In this case it will not be necessary to issue new tickets. We will inform promptly about these changes without this meaning that it will be liable for you not attending knowing about the postponement of the event. If an event is cancelled without Production foreseeing a future date, you will receive a refund for the value of your ticket. The amount paid for home delivery and/or services charges will not be reimbursed. You will not have to return the ticket to the box office of the place where the event would have been held. Given that transactions carried out in the Website are paid exclusively with a credit or debit card, the refund will be done directly to your credit or debit card Authorizer.
We will not substitute lost, damaged or stolen tickets. Do not expose your tickets to sunlight, heat, cold or liquids.

3. Payment terms
Payment terms will be determined by SpecialTicket.net. The site will accept your order once SpecialTicket.net has received confirmation from the credit or debit card Authorizer.

SpecialTicket.net will not be liable if, for any reason, a financial institution declines the credit or debit card. In case of internet and/or Call Center purchases, virtual cards or cards without relief will not be accepted.

4. Acceptance terms for an order
Confirmation on an order placed by you does not mean our acceptance of this order. Once SpecialTicket.net has received confirmation for your order, it reserves the right to accept or decline it for whatever reasons.

5. Conditions for ticket reservations
In case that a specific event, and depending on the Producer's or Promoter's policies, takes ticket(s) reservations and not purchases, you can make your reservations 48 hours in advance of the event. You will immediately receive a confirmation for your reservation indicating the code that you will use to retrieve your ticket(s) at one of our Sales Points during a limited time shown on the Site's reservation form (normally 48 or 72 hours after having received your reservation confirmation). Once this time limit has been exceeded, SpecialTicket.net will automatically avoi the reservation without the possibility claims from the customer. Only in case of a reservation.

SpecialTicket.net will charge your credit card at least 10%, and up to 20%, of the price of the ticket(s) under the concept of a reservation guarantee. This amount will be discounted from your total at the moment of purchase at one of our Sales Points. In case you do not retrieve your ticket(s) during the established time limit (48 or 72 hours after having received confirmation of your reservation), you will lose your reservation and the initial charge without a right for reimbursement or return.

6. Ticket delivery conditions.
Whether you have purchased or reserved your ticket(s), you must retrieve the ticket(s) at one of our authorized Sales Points. Their location and hours are given in the Site. If you:
Purchase the ticket with a credit or debit card through the Internet or Call Center, you may retrieve your ticket directly at the box office at the event location two hours before and one hour after the start of the event by presenting the sales code, credit card with which you did the transaction, and a valid ID. The code will be given to you directly by the Call Center operator in case of a telephone sale, or by the website once you have completed your purchase with a credit or debit card. A transaction summary and sales code will be sent to you immediately to your email address. SpecialTicket.net will not be responsible in case the user does not receive the confirmation email for reasons beyond the company's control.
For reservations through the Internet or Call Center, you may also retrieve and cancel at the box office by presenting the reservation code 4 hours to 1 hour before the start of the event and respecting the time limit for reservation holds (48 or 72 hours after having received a confirmation for your reservation). The same procedure used for the purchase applies.

In order to avoid wasting time and the unnecessary hassle of standing in box office lines, we recommend that you retrieve your ticket ahead of time at one of our authorized Sales Points.

6.1. Home delivery conditions.

You can choose this option during the entire pre sale period 48 to 72 hours before the start of the event. SpecialTicket.net agrees to deliver your tickets in 5 business days between 8:00AM and 5:00PM. The cost of this service varies depending on the delivery location and it will be paid by the customer. Rates are posted on the website. SpecialTicket.net will not be responsible for failed deliveries due to incorrect or not clearly identifiable addresses or telephone numbers.

The delivery company will contact you over the phone to agree on a date and time for the delivery.
After several unsuccessful attempts to contact you, SpecialTicket will send you an email requesting that you contact us to coordinate ticket(s) delivery.
If you do not contact us again after 24 hours, SpecialTicket will not be responsible for delays in ticket delivery and they will be left for you to retrieve them at any of the delivery points identified in our Website..

In case the delivery company arrives to the agreed address and the ticket(s) cannot be delivered because you are not available, you do not have the credit/debit card with which you purchased the ticket(s), or the address you provided does not coincide, you will be responsible for paying the additional costs involved in a second delivery.

SpecialTicekt.net will provide one (1) home delivery for each transaction completed. If you have two (2) or more transactions SpecialTicket.net will be able to deliver these tickets in one order only if we are notified by you through an email and if all transactions are done in a single day.

IMPORTANT: When you purchase one or more tickets with a credit or debit card through the Call Center or the website, it is a prerequisite that you retrieve the ticket(s) personally. For your safety, our staff in charge of handing the tickets will verify that the person receiving them is the owner of the credit or debit card with which the purchase was done. You must sign a voucher as a receipt for the ticket(s).

7. Jurisdiction and location.
The laws of the Republic of Costa Rica govern the use of orders made within the site. You accept that any lawsuits against SpecialTicket will be governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica. You accept that the jurisdiction and location for any lawsuit presented for the use of orders placed in the Site will be the Court of San José in the Republic of Costa Rica.

8. Typos In the event
Typos In the event that a product has incorrect price or information due to a typo or a mistake in product price or information provided by producers who hire us, the Site will reserve the right to reject or cancel an order placed with the incorrect price. SpecialTicket.net will have the right to reject or cancel any order confirmed or debited to your credit card. If your purchase has been charged and then voided, SpecialTicket.net will credit your credit card account with the corresponding amount.

Except for what has been expressed in the content, SpecialTicket.net expressly denies any guarantees of any kind with respect to products sold in this site, including but not limited to the business and competence for a particular purpose. You accept that the maximum sole and exclusive liability of SpecialTicket.net presented by any product sold in the SpecialTicket.net website, will be the price and delivery of the purchased product. At no time and under no circumstances will you be able to sue SpecialTicket.net representatives for the special, indirect, consequential, or punitive damages related to the product sold.

SpecialTicket.net makes no representations or guarantees, expressed or implied, with respect to its operations, content, information, and materials. 14. Clause invalidity.
If any clause in the Terms and Conditions were to become invalid, illegal or inapplicable, the validity, legality, and applicability of the remaining clauses will in no way be affected or deteriorated.

15. Exclusion and limitation of liability.
SpecialTicket.net will, at no moment, be liable to a client or any third party company for loss or special damage, indirect, consequential or punitive due to any of these terms and conditions, including but not limited to the loss of benefits, loss of business or loss of use, of any lawsuit by any third party company.

SpecialTicket.net will not be liable if it is unable to carry out any of the obligations contained in these terms and conditions due to, directly or indirectly, malfunctions of any equipment, authorization service, data processing or communication system or any labor conflict, war, flood, explosion, acts of God or any other event beyond SpecialTicket.net's control.
